In the current digital world, everyone is trying to catch up and match up the speed of light to keep up with the pace the world is moving towards. Be it science, technology, industry developments and infrastructure, use of high-end technologies are increasingly implemented to produce state of the art services. When it comes to travel industry, it raises a question that is there any mode of travel which can beat air travel time. Seems like there is one concept which can really beat the high-speed train and air travel. It’s called Hyperloop-one.
Hyperloop One concept is first envisioned by Elon Musk a Tesla CEO in 2013. The idea was to launch a high-speed bullet train which reduces travel time between the cities.
The Hyperloop one is using magnetic levitation technology to transport people and goods much faster through low-pressure steel tubes. This system is built underground to avoid traffic and sensitive weather conditions. It carries around 28 passengers in each pod and travels through a vacuum tunnel. Basically, flights flew 800 kmph whereas this train was designed to travel 1080 kmph.
Currently, this new project is in progress in Los Angeles and is expected to complete by 2021. On July 29, the company completed its second stage of the test in Nevada desert. They tested XP-1 pod inside a DevLoop tube which successfully accelerated 200 kmph and aiming to push pods hit 700 kmph in next test.
XP-1 passenger pod travels 500 meters DevLoop track
After Reading About This Technology A New Question May Rise How This Transport System Can Change Human Life And Is It Safe?
Shervin Pishevar the co-founder of Hyperloop One declares that this future transport will be the cheapest, cleanest and fastest transport system in the world.
This transport functions similar to an airplane and provides better benefits compared to planes like
- Reduces traveling outside of the town to catch a flight as they are planning to run in city centers.
- Ticket costs cheaper than a flight.
- Runs on electric power and is eco-friendly.
- Oxygen mask facility will be offered.
- Fewer safety concerns will be considered as they are built underground and not exposed to rain, wind and fog.
- It also offers emergency brakes mechanism to control the vehicle in critical condition.
The World Fastest Hyperloop Routes Is Coming To INDIA.
Hyperloop conducted a global competition across the world to develop Hyperloop routes in their region. They received more than 2600 proposal all over the world and nailed down to 35 proposals as semifinalist. Later after careful assessment 10 strongest routes were selected to build Hyperloop line. Out of 10 winners, India won two routes from Bangalore to Chennai covers 334 km and Mumbai to Chennai covers 1102 km. This advanced system allows people to travel within 23 minutes between Bangalore to Chennai and 63 min from Mumbai to Chennai.
